Heading to Coldplay? Here are 3 simple travel tips

Coldplay is set to play four sold-out nights in Dublin on 29th and 30th August, plus 1st and 2nd September, at Croke Park. Over these four nights, more than 320,000 music lovers will descend upon Drumcondra to hear Chris Martin and the band put on a stellar show. For those lucky enough to get their hands on tickets, the next thing to plan is how you’re going to get there? Taxi, bus, cycle, boat or walk?

Coldplay Taxi Travel Tips

Coldplay Taxi Travel Tips

We’ve put together this simple guide with some handy tips and tricks so you’re not late to the party.

⏲️

1. Try Leave Early

If you’re not working and can leave early, we recommend you get in around the action as soon as you can. Head in early, grab some food and have a few pints close enough to the venue. This way you know you’re only a few mins walk away so you can plan when you want to head into Croke Park.

📲

2.Prebook in Advance

If you’re set on a time, make sure you prebook your taxi in advance and try not leave it to the last minute. Again, if you can leave a little earlier we would recommend this as traffic will be heavy in places and availability at peak times will be scarce.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑

3. Travel Together

Heading with a group or with friends who live on the way/close by. Try arrange that you all share a taxi together! This will not only save you a few euro, it will also help with driver availability for other passengers.

If you’re looking to prebook a taxi, you can easily download the Lynk Taxi App or Call 018202020.
