Top Events This Summer

Summer is just around the corner and with the events calendar jam-packed this year, we decided to put together Lynk’s top events to look out for over the coming months.

Sunday Markets

The People’s Park plays host to one of the best food markets in the country every Sunday from 11-4pm, and with Summer fast approaching it is the perfect way to end your week. From hand picked berries, to slow cooked BBQ, there is something for everyone here and you will also find non food-related services such as a bicycle repair stand for any punctures that need fixing!

The Ball – 28th April

Dublin’s first ever student only festival takes place on the 28th of April in the fantastic location of Dun Laoghaire Harbour and will play host to some amazing acts such as Gavin James, Klangkarussell and Hare Squead as well as a foodyard and funfair!

Lynk are delighted to be partnering with this event as the official taxi partner, with our newly acquired Blackrock fleet ready to get the masses from the event to the Official after parties in the City Centre. Keep an eye on our social media over the coming week, if you’re attending The Ball, as will be giving out a dedicated discount code in the days leading up to the festival.

With the likes of Orbital, Bon Iver and Aphex Twin performing in the beautiful grounds of Kilmainham Gaol, you will be hard pressed to find a festival this good so close to the city centre, and the best thing about it is you’re only a quick Lynk taxi away from continuing the after party in your favourite pub!
