We are back with another round-up of Lynk’s top things to do in the month of July. From live sport to live music with some street performers in the middle, July has it all. Keep reading and fill your weekends with one of the many activities we have picked out for you!

Trinity Summer Series 6th – 11th July
The Trinity Summer Series has kicked off with a whole host of fantastic gigs to choose from. With the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Pixies, James Vincent McMorrow, Alt-J and more taking to the famed grounds of Trinity College, there is something here for everyone. We are very much looking forward to seeing how the first year of this Series goes with hopes it will be back again in 2018!
The Irish Open 6th – 9th July
Rory McIlroy will defend his crown at Portstewart Golf Club this weekend and faces stiff competition from golfing superstars Hideki, Matsuyama, Justin Rose, John Rahm and more. A lot of effort has been put in to boost the reputation of Ireland’s premiere golf tournament and the inclusion of a PRO AM, live music and a food and drink village will no doubt add to a fantastic occasion for all.
City Spectacular – 7th – 9th July
Ireland’s biggest free summer festival returns to Merrion Square once again as it celebrates it’s 12th birthday. This festival promoting street performance is truly a unique day out with enough dancing, flipping, juggling, magic and more to keep you coming back the next day! British and Irish Lions vs All Blacks – 8th July
Although our Lynk drivers might not be able to get you to the match itself, we will definitely be on hand Saturday morning to get you to your mates gaff where everyone will be to watch this thrilling series come to a conclusion! With the score tied one a piece, we for one can’t wait to see if the boys can pull it out of the bag and upset the mighty All Blacks
Coldplay – 8th July
Chris Martin et al are no strangers to large audiences, so what better way to celebrate a fine summer’s day than with one of the best live bands on earth rocking the largest stadium in the country. Love them or hate them, Coldplay know how to put on a one of a kind show so grab your neon wristbands and head on down to Croker for a gig you won’t forget.
Longitude 14th – 16th July
Longitude is now in it’s 5th year and shows no signs of slowing down with huge acts like Mumford and Sons, The Weeknd and Stormzy confirmed for the Marlay Park festival. With a distinct genre shaping each day, you can choose to spend your day sampling what the latest rap scene has to offer or having a boogie to some country and pop music.
