The Laughter Lounge will host a comedy series this Easter Weekend showcasing 4 of Ireland’s top comedians including Keith Farnan who made a name for himself on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as the world famous, Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival. Viking Fest – Dublinia & Wood Quay

Brought to you by Dublinia, the Viking Fest 2018 will be a massive celebration of the culture that once dominated all facets of this city we call home. Swords, shields, spears, axes and much more will be on display in the Dublinia courtyard all weekend. There will even be longships and theatrical performances taking place so pop down and get a feel for what this city used to be like over 1,000 years ago!

Dublin Comic Con: Anime Edition – Convention Centre, North Wall Quay

Back for its sixth year, the Dublin Comic Con’s celebration of Japanese animation will bring TV and film personalities, comic creators and artists to Dublin’s Convention Centre for two fun-filled days. Retro Drive-In Movies – Leopardstown Racecourse

Saturday 31st – Sunday 1st

From Beauty & The Beast and ET to Jaws and Stand By Me, there is something here for everyone as Leopardstown Racecourse transforms into a drive-in cinema where you can enjoy these classics and more from the comfort of your own car. There will be burgers, doughnuts, popcorn and chips on sale as you get to watch movies on ‘the world’s biggest mobile LED screen’.

Mad Hatters Tea Party – 1 – 5pm – Deerpark, Mount Merrion

Sunday 1st

All is not quite as it seems in Deerpark on Easter Sundays. Characters from the famous Alice in Wonderland including the White Rabbit, Alice and the Mad Hatter himself will be there from 1pm to greet guests to their special tea party. Hosted by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, this fantastic event is back again and is a great celebration for the whole family for all things Easter so bring your baskets and get ready for an egg hunt!
