Lynk Re-Collaborates with Change For Charity
Lynk has re-collaborated with Change for Charity to promote the organisation in its bid to encourage donations of small coins to various charities across Ireland.
Norma Smurfit is the founder of Change for Charity and has been fundraising for over forty years across Ireland. It is based on the Central Bank’s rounding initiative and aims to donate some of €35million worth of 1c and 2c coins to Irish charities. There are collection spots in various outlets around the country including Supervalu, AIB and Dublin Bus.
A number of Lynk drivers have worked with Change for Charity before. They have recently begun carrying business cards encouraging customers to partake in the collection process. Drivers who take part in the Change for Charity scheme will donate leftover 1c and 2c coins from fares to the collection boxes.
